Privacy Policy
1. USER DATA SECURITY IS FUNDAMENTAL
VALL’DOAIDO respects the privacy of all users of the site or online store (hereinafter referred to as “the customer” or “the customers”). This confidentiality policy forms the basis for the processing of personal data and provides information about the type of user data collected from customers by VALL’DOAIDO, how VALL’DOAIDO uses this data, and the rights that customers have. VALL’DOAIDO complies with applicable data protection laws and processes personal data only for the purposes for which the data was transmitted.
These data protection provisions are periodically adapted, supplemented, or amended. The current version, which can be consulted, applies to each new call or visit to the website.
In case of inconsistency between this Privacy Policy and any other applicable contractual or commercial terms of VALL’DOAIDO, the provisions of this Privacy Policy shall prevail.
2. NATURE AND PURPOSE OF DATA COLLECTED
The term "personal data" or "personal information" for the purposes of this privacy policy includes information from which customers can be personally identified. The processing of personal data refers to any handling of personal data, such as collection, use, storage, disclosure, transmission, or deletion of data. On one hand, VALL’DOAIDO automatically collects personal data when the customer interacts with the site or uses the online store. On the other hand, personal data is collected automatically or manually when a customer provides it (for example, when contacting us, creating a user profile, or a customer account).
2.1 Automatically Collected Data
When visiting the VALL’DOAIDO website, statistical data about the parts of the web offer visited by the customer are automatically collected. Each time the website is accessed, the web server automatically saves the so-called server log file, which contains, for example, the name of the requested file, the customer's IP address, the date and time of access, the browser used, the operating system, the amount of data transferred, and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the access. In this context, it is sometimes necessary for so-called cookies (see chapter 4) to be used.
This access data is evaluated exclusively for the purpose of ensuring the proper functioning of the website and improving our services.
2.2 Data, in case of interaction with VALL’DOAIDO, for processing contracts, contacts, and opening a customer account
VALL’DOAIDO does not automatically collect personal data from customers, such as name, address, phone number, or email address.
On the other hand, personal data is collected from customers if a customer voluntarily provides it as part of an order or when contacting VALL’DOAIDO (for example, via a contact form or email). Mandatory fields are marked as such because VALL’DOAIDO needs the data in these cases to process the contract or to handle the contact, and without their specification, the order or contact cannot be sent. The data that is collected can be viewed in the respective input forms.
If a customer decides to open a customer account, VALL’DOAIDO will use the personal data for the purpose of opening the customer account. The mandatory information requested during registration must be provided in full, otherwise VALL’DOAIDO may refuse the registration. VALL’DOAIDO uses the personal data collected solely for the purpose of using the online store or the respective offer or service for which the customer registered. Additionally, VALL’DOAIDO may use the customer's email address to inform them of important changes, for example within the scope of the offer, or in case of technically necessary changes.
After the complete execution of the contract or after the deletion of the customer account, the customer's data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after the expiration of the retention periods stipulated by tax and commercial law, unless the customer has given express consent for further use of the data or if VALL’DOAIDO reserves the right to use the data beyond this, which is permitted by law. The deletion of the customer account is possible at any time and can be carried out by sending a message to the contact details provided below (see chapter 9) or through a function provided for this purpose in the customer account.
3. LEGAL BASIS FOR THE COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
The legal basis for the collection and processing of the customer's personal data depends, in each individual case, on the purpose of the data processing.In particular, the following aspects are at stake:
- The protection of VALL’DOAIDO's legitimate interests, provided that the customer's interests or fundamental rights or freedoms are not unduly affected;
- The conclusion or execution of a contract;
- Customer consent at the time of data collection. The customer can revoke their consent at any time. For this purpose, the customer can send a corresponding message to the contact details described below. The legality of data processing already carried out is not affected by the revocation.
