Privacy policy

1. THE SECURITY OF USER DATA IS ESSENTIAL

VALL’DOAIDO respects the privacy of all users of the website or online store (hereinafter referred to as “the customer” or “the customers”). This confidentiality policy forms the basis for the processing of personal data and provides information about the type of user data collected from customers by VALL’DOAIDO, the way in which VALL’DOAIDO uses this data and the rights enjoyed by customers. AVAL’DOIDO complies with applicable data protection laws and processes personal data only for the purposes for which the data was transmitted.

These data protection provisions are adapted, supplemented or amended periodically. With each new call or visit to the website, the current version applies and can be consulted.

In case of inconsistency between this Privacy Policy and any other applicable contractual or commercial conditions of VALL’DOAIDO, the provisions of this Privacy Policy will prevail.

2. NATURE AND PURPOSE OF DATA COLLECTED

The term “personal data” or “personal information” for the purposes of this privacy policy includes information from which customers can be personally identified. The processing of personal data means any manipulation of personal data, such as the collection, use, storage, disclosure, transmission or deletion of data. On the one hand, VALL’DOAIDO automatically collects personal data when the customer interacts with the website or uses the online store. On the other hand, personal data is collected automatically or manually when a customer provides it (for example, when contacting us, when creating a user profile or a customer account).

2.1 Data collected automatically

When visiting the VALL’DOAIDO website, statistical data is automatically collected about the parts of the web offer visited by the customer. Each time a website is accessed, the web server automatically saves a so-called server log file, which contains, for example, the name of the requested file, the client's IP address, the date and time of access, the browser used , the operating system, the amount of data transferred and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the access. In this context, it is sometimes necessary for so-called cookies (see chapter 4) to be used.

This access data is evaluated exclusively with the aim of ensuring the proper functioning of the Website and improving our services.

2.2 Data, in case of interaction with VALL’DOAIDO, for the processing of contracts, contacts and opening a customer account

VALL’DOAIDO does not automatically collect personal data from customers, such as name, address, telephone number or email address.

On the other hand, personal data is collected from customers if a customer voluntarily provides it as part of an order or when contacting VALL'DOAIDO (for example, via a contact form or an email) . Mandatory fields are marked as such, since VALL’DOAIDO needs the data in these cases to process the contract or to process the contact and, without your specification, the order or contact cannot be sent. The data that is collected can be consulted in the respective entry forms.

If a customer decides to open a customer account, VALL’DOAIDO will use personal data for the purposes of opening the customer account. The mandatory information requested during registration must be provided in full, otherwise VALL’DOAIDO may refuse registration. VALL’DOAIDO uses the personal data collected only for the purposes of using the online store or the respective offer or service for which the customer registered. Furthermore, VALL’DOAIDO may use the customer’s email address to inform them of important changes, for example within the scope of the offer, or in the case of technically necessary changes.

After complete execution of the contract or after deletion of the customer account, customer data will be limited for further processing and deleted after the expiration of the retention periods provided for by tax and commercial legislation, unless the customer has given the your express consent for further use of the data or if VALL'DOAIDO reserves the right to use the data beyond that, which is permitted by law. Deleting the customer account is possible at any time and can be done by sending a message to the contact details indicated below (see chapter 9) or through a function provided for this purpose in the customer account.

3. LEGAL BASIS FOR THE COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

The legal basis for the collection and processing of the customer's personal data depends, in each individual case, on the purpose of the data processing. In particular, the following aspects are at stake:

- The protection of VALL’DOAIDO’s legitimate interests, as long as the customer’s interests or fundamental rights or freedoms are not inappropriately affected;
- The conclusion or execution of a contract;
- Customer consent at the time of collecting personal data. The customer may revoke their consent at any time. For this purpose, the customer can send a corresponding message to the contact details described below. The legality of data processing already carried out is not affected by revocation.

4. USE OF COOKIES AND USE OF DATA

4.1. Cookies

In order to continually improve the Website for customers, VALL’DOAIDO may use cookies. Cookies are small pieces of software that are stored by web browsers (e.g. Google Chrome, Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox) on the hard drive of the customer's computer to facilitate the use of the Website (e.g. language selection, shopping cart , etc.).

Some of the cookies used by VALL’DOAIDO are deleted again at the end of the web browser session, i.e. after closing the web browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on the end device and allow VALL’DOAIDO to recognize the customer’s browser on the next visit (so-called persistent cookies). The storage duration can be found in the cookie settings overview of the web browser.

Most Web browsers automatically accept these cookies, but Web browsers can be configured not to accept or store cookies. However, if cookies are disabled, the functionality of the Website may be limited. For more information, refer to the operating instructions or the help function of your web browser.

4.two Use of data

Anonymized data recorded through cookies when accessing the VALL’DOAIDO Website can be used for web analysis, website optimization and performance evaluation purposes. VALL’DOAIDO may use third party providers for this purpose, some of which have their own data protection regulations over which VALL’DOAIDO has no influence.

VALL’DOAIDO uses functions of the following web analysis services:

Google Analytics

The supplier is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google evaluates the use of the Website to prepare reports on the Website's activities and to provide VALL’DOAIDO with other services related to the use of the Website and the Internet. The IP address transmitted by the customer's browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

The information generated by cookies about your use of Websiten is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google complies with the data protection provisions of the “Swiss-U.s Privacy Shield” and registered with the US Department of Commerce for “Swiss-U.s Privacy Shield” (information about “Swiss-U.s Privacy Shield” can be found in https://www.privacyshield.gov/Swiss-US-Privacy-Shield-FAQs).

For more information, see Google's privacy policy at https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de

Google Ads and Google Conversion Tracking

The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Within the scope of Google Ads, VALL’DOAIDO uses so-called conversion control. When the customer clicks on an ad placed by Google, a cookie is placed to track the conversion. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days at the latest and are not used to identify the customer. If the customer visits the VALL’DOAIDO website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and VALL’DOAIDO can recognize that the customer clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.

VALL’DOAIDO receives from Google the total number of users who clicked on the ad and were redirected to a website marked with a conversion tracking tag. However, VALL’DOAIDO does not receive any information with which the customer can be personally identified.

For more information, see Google's privacy policy at https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/

Google Maps

The supplier is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

VALL’DOAIDO uses Google Maps to visually present geographic information. When using Google Maps, Google transmits or processes data about the use of Maps functions by visitors to the Website, which may include, in particular, IP address and location data. VALL’DOAIDO has no influence on this data processing. Insofar as information is transferred to Google servers in the USA and stored there, the American company Google LLC is certified under the “Swiss-U.s Privacy Shield”.

To deactivate the Google Maps service and thus prevent data transmission to Google, the customer must deactivate the Java Script function in the browser. In this case, Google Maps cannot be used or can only be used to a limited extent.

For more information, see Google's privacy policy at https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps/

4.3 Social media content

VALL’DOAIDO may use social media plugins such as Facebook, Instagram, Xing or Twitter on the Website.

When the customer accesses a website that contains a plugin of this type, the web browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of the respective social network. The plugin content is transmitted directly to the web browser by the respective provider and integrated into the page. By integrating plugins, providers receive information that the customer's browser has accessed the corresponding VALL'DOAIDO website, even if the customer does not have a profile on the corresponding social network or is not currently connected. This information (including the IP address) is transmitted by the customer's browser directly to a server of the respective provider (possibly to the USA) and stored there. If the customer is logged in to one of the services, social network providers can directly attribute the visit to the VALL’DOAIDO website to the profile on the respective social network. If the customer interacts with the plugins, for example by clicking on the “Like” or “Share” button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a supplier's server and stored there. The information is also published on the social network and presented to the customer's contacts there.

These social media platforms have their own data protection regulations over which VALL’DOAIDO has no influence.

The purpose and scope of data collection and the subsequent processing and use of data by providers on their pages as well as a contact option and relevant customer rights and configuration options for privacy protection can be found in data protection notices from suppliers:

If the customer does not want any of these plugins to be loaded, it is recommended that they log out on the corresponding social networks. Furthermore, various browsers can be configured or supplemented with add-ons (e.g. Facebook blocker) so that social media plugins are not loaded.

5. NEWSLETTER

If the customer wishes to receive the Newsletter offered by VALL'DOAIDO, VALL'DOAIDO needs the customer's email address and other information that allows it to verify whether the customer is the owner of the email address provided and if you agree to receive the newsletter (procedure called “double-opt-in”). If the customer wishes to subscribe to a newsletter as a registered customer, they must give their consent at the time of registration.

With the newsletter, the customer regularly receives recommendations and offers that may be of interest to them. For this purpose, VALL'DOAIDO collects and processes personal data relating to the customer's usage behavior on the Website, orders placed with VALL'DOAIDO and the way in which the customer uses the newsletter (for example, whether the newsletter is opened or which the web URL links that are clicked). VALL’DOAIDO may analyze this data for statistical purposes, in order to better adapt the content of the newsletter to the interests of customers.

Personal data entered into the newsletter registration form is processed based on the customer's consent, which he or she may revoke at any time in the future. Revocation is carried out via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter, written notification from the customer to VALL’DOAIDO at the address indicated below or by closing the session on the customer account. VALL’DOAIDO uses the personal data collected to design the content and send the newsletter. No data is passed on to third parties for their own (advertising) purposes.

VALL’DOIDO retains the personal data provided by the customer for the purpose of receiving the newsletter until the customer unsubscribes from the newsletter.

6. TRANSMIT YOUR DATA

VALL’DOAIDO will not disclose customers’ personal data to third parties. The exception is when the customer has consented to the disclosure of data to companies that are not associated with VALL’DOAIDO or when VALL’DOAIDO is obliged to do so by law, authorities or courts. Furthermore, when service providers are used to assist VALL'DOAIDO in the processing of data, in the administration of the Websiten or in any other way, as well as in the provision of products and services requested by the customer (for example, delivery service providers of orders or Newsletter). These third parties are obliged to maintain the same level of security and data protection as VALL’DOAIDO.

7. DATA SECURITY

Unfortunately, data transmission over the Internet is not absolutely secure. VALL’DOAIDO works with service providers and Internet providers who take appropriate technical and organizational security precautions to protect customers’ personal data. However, VALL’DOAIDO cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted by the customer. Any data transmission is therefore carried out at the customer's own risk.

8. YOUR INFORMATION AND REVOCATION RIGHTS

Of course, each customer is free to inform VALL’DOAIDO at any time - for example, via email - that personal data should not be used to contact them in the future. Participation in special services on the VALL’DOAIDO Website, such as the newsletter service, can also be revoked at any time.

In addition, it is possible to obtain information about data processing or request a copy of the personal data collected through the VALL’DOAIDO website.
