Description

Stripped of the imperial nobility of its origin, the Pé de Ganso Reserva Especial wine was born from the indifference that arises from much suffering. Fate decreed the fantastic discovery that it aged without dying. Everything happens for a reason, and its revelation fell upon Quatro Cravos. It is a 100% BAGA wine, offering a fresh and impeccable aromatic intensity, present acidity, and soft tannins. Opaque color with abundant brown tones. Aroma of coffee, tobacco, brick, refreshed by eucalyptus and pine nut scents. On the palate, it is fresh, elegant, and long.

Oenologist
Nuno Bastos

In the Bairrada wine-growing region, known for its excellent sparkling wines, the Quatro Cravos company owns two wineries, Adega Cravo and Adega Original, which produce DOC wines from Bairrada and IGP wines from Beira Atlântico.

The still and sparkling wines produced here will surprise you because their quality is the result of combining a rich heritage of traditional methods with the most modern technology.

The first wine was made in Adega Cravo in 1911. For more than a hundred years, from generation to generation, the family has maintained the tradition of winemaking.

With the construction of the Adega Original and the acquisition of land to plant new vineyards, the limited capacity of the centuries-old Adega Cravo was overcome, allowing it to grow in size and consistency in the production of high quality still and sparkling wines. Adega Original stands for the idea of something new, pure, authentic, modern and real Bairradino. The identity of Adeg is based on the concept of the word origin, which means the beginning, the root of what exists, the starting point.
