Barona Castanha - Smoked Brown Ale

With this special chestnut edition, we wanted to capture another piece of the Alto Alentejo region in a bottle. For this, we selected the protected Marvão DOP chestnut and brewed a smoky brown ale – with delicate notes of chestnut and fennel, and a caramel finish.
Ideal to accompany an autumn evening in front of an Alentejo fireplace – with a bag of roasted chestnuts in hand.
