DescriptionLuminous yellow-green. A subtle aromatic profile with notes of lemon and apple. Hints of herbs. Full and broad on the palate, yet firmly structured and supported by a high, linear acidity. A harmonious balance between the acidity and the full-bodied character. A long, persistent, and vibrant finish.

Vinification
VinificationFermented and fully matured in stainless steel tanks. This Encruzado is created from a blend of vineyards from Póvoa das Quartas and Girabolhos, harvested on consecutive days. Fermentation took place at a controlled temperature (18–20 °C) in an inert container. Malolactic fermentation was deliberately prevented. The wine continues to mature in stainless steel tanks, with the fine lees being regularly stirred during the first two months. Subsequently, further maturation took place for 7 to 9 months on the resting fine lees – always in the stainless steel tank.
