Description

It displays a citrus color with a fine and persistent perlage. With a very Atlantic profile, fruity aroma, and biscuit notes. On the palate, the mousse is velvety and harmonizes with the lively acidity, with a very elegant finish.

Vinification

Light pressing, decanting, and cold fermentation in a temperature-controlled stainless steel tank. Second fermentation in the bottle over 12 months using the classic method with manual riddling and disgorging by cold treatment.

In der Weinbauregion Bairrada, die für ihre ausgezeichneten Schaumweine bekannt ist, besitzt das Unternehmen Quatro Cravos zwei Weinkellereien, Adega Cravo und Adega Original, die DOC-Weine aus Bairrada und IGP-Weine aus Beira Atlântico herstellen. 

Die hier erzeugten Still- und Schaumweine werden Sie überraschen, denn ihre Qualität ist das Ergebnis der Verbindung eines reichen Erbes traditioneller Methoden mit modernster Technologie. 

1911 wurde in der Adega Cravo der erste Wein hergestellt. Seit mehr als hundert Jahren, von Generation zu Generation, hat die Familie die Tradition der Weinherstellung aufrechterhalten. 

Mit dem Bau der Adega Original und dem Erwerb von Grundstücken zur Anpflanzung neuer Weinberge konnte die begrenzte Kapazität der jahrhundertealten Adega Cravo überwunden werden, so dass sie an Größe und Beständigkeit bei der Herstellung von qualitativ hochwertigen Still- und Schaumweinen gewinnen konnte. Adega Original steht für die Idee von etwas Neuem, Reinem, Authentischem, Modernem und echtem Bairradino. Die Identität von Adeg basiert auf dem Konzept des Wortes Ursprung, das den Anfang, die Wurzel des Bestehenden, den Ausgangspunkt bedeutet.
